Outdoor Learning and Wellness Camps

This summer, students across the Â鶹ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø are invited to learn, explore, and grow through our exciting and free Summer Learning Outdoor Wellness Camps.

Designed to inspire curiosity, confidence, and connection, our summer programs provide engaging, student-centered experiences that combine learning, wellness, outdoor adventure, and hands-on exploration in a fun and supportive environment.

SGDSB offers Outdoor Wellness Camps for students in Kindergarten to Grade 6, as well as specialized opportunities for students in Grades 7–12. Each camp is thoughtfully designed to reflect the strengths, interests, and natural beauty of the local community while helping students stay active, connected, and engaged throughout the summer months.

Through outdoor learning and wellness-focused activities, students will:

  • Explore nature and the outdoors through hands-on experiences;
  • Participate in daily physical activity and wellness routines;
  • Build confidence, friendships, and leadership skills;
  • Strengthen literacy, numeracy, and learning skills in a relaxed, low-pressure environment; and
  • Connect with caring educators who know and value their community.

Our Summer Learning Outdoor Wellness Camps create meaningful opportunities for students to discover new interests, make lasting memories, and continue learning in ways that are active, joyful, and inspiring.

Whether your child enjoys being outdoors, trying new activities, building friendships, or exploring the natural world, there is something for everyone at SGDSB Summer Learning Camps.

Registration is not yet open but will be available in the coming weeks. Families are encouraged to watch for additional information from their child's school or return to this webpage for updates, registration details, and finalized camp locations.
